Released in 2011, Topangri-la is a collection of songs written between 2000 and 2011 (with the exception of Waylander, written in 1992 by Sean in Plymouth, NH.) The album dives deep into the takeaways from some defining experiences, painted over some strong hooks and melodies. The varied drumming and beats on the album shows a transition from using loops and hired online drummers to using a backline section in Los Angeles upon Sean's arrival in 2007.
It also features guest appearances from Mitch Perry (Edgar Winter Group, MSG, Lita Ford) and Todd Smallwood (BTO, The Mick Fleetwood Band) as well as vocal parts from Sean's longtime friend and favorite singer/percussionist Joseph DiAngelo.
